The last few fishing charters here in Tampabay have been on fire. It doesn’t matter if you using shrimp under a cork or on a 1/8oz jig head on a spinning gear or throwing the fly rod at tailing Redfish. The Trout bit is just insane with the last cold front with an average of 75 Trout between 14 to 21 inches each charter. We have been getting them on shrimp, jigs, and fly. The Redfish bite has been great with the low negative tides on this new moon. We have been getting so great shots at tailing Redfish on the first part of the incoming tide throwing shrimp flies and live shrimp on jig heads as the tide gets higher we start fishing the mangroves and oyster bars and creeks throwing white or gold jerk baits and getting Redfish up to 30 inches.
